Numbers to Know
The City Parks Department maintains the Lake Jacksonville Recreational Area which has 10 screened shelters, 7 camping sites with water & electricity and 10 R.V. Pads with water & electricity. There are 3 boat ramps on the lake and 2 public swimming areas. The camping area also has restroom facilities with showers for the campers. These can be rented by calling the city (903) 589-3510.
